“ChildCan Cancer Foundation (CCCF)” is dedicated for creating awareness about Childhood Cancer and offering affordable treatment, promoting collaborative projects across the Globe. We are specialized for Conceptualising, Designing and Implementation of Early Detection and control of all types of Childhood Cancer and mobilising cancer treatment at affordable cost and also setting up Pediatric Oncology units for Cancer Care Hospital or Institutes.
“ChildCan Cancer Foundation (CCCF)” is trying to find out issues related to Childhood Cancer treatment, so the treatment of cancer can become affordable and within reach of the poor.

Dr. Shailja Chaturvedi, MD
"Shailja Chaturvedi completed her Medical Graduation in year 1967 from King George Medical College Lucknow, India. She is a qualified psychiatrist and currently practicing in Australia. She lives in Sydney with her husband, a retinal surgeon who has been involved in charity eye services in Rishikesh and Fiji.
Her living inspiration is her 97 years old mother who lives in their family home in Lucknow, India.
Her family had close association with Pujyaneey Hanuman Prasad Poddar family, inculcating the Philosophy and Sanskar of Human values, which have remained her strength, resilience and inspiration."
Dr. Somasundaram SUBRAMANIAN, MD
Dr. Somasundaram Subramaniam is Surgical Oncologist, Plastic Surgeon & Cancer Survivor too. He hails from southern part of India. Currently he is practicing in Moscow and has gained wide popularity in eastern part of Europe as Expert Cancer Surgeon.
He is Founder – Eurasian Federation of Oncology (Russian Federation) and Eurasian Cancer Research Council (India). He is involved in nurturing young doctors and scientists by arranging seminars, forums and conferences across the Globe. He is well accepted mentor by many doctors those who are pursuing their post graduate and super speciality studies.
Prof. Arun Chaturvedi
Prof. Arun Chaturvedi is presently Professor & Head of Surgical Oncology, at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow.
Recognized by the MCI and the National Board of Examinations as a postgraduate teacher and examiner in Surgical Oncology, Dr. Chaturvedi was behind the MCh Surgical Oncology programmes started at KGMU and Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS).
Dr. Chaturvedi trained as INCLEN Fellow at University of Pennsylvania (USA) and has been an active faculty member of the Institute of Clinical Epidemiology, KGMU. There are several publications (more than 90 papers and 10 book chapters) and presentations to Dr. Chaturvedi’s credit.
Dedicated to the teaching, training and practice of Surgical Oncology for more than three decades Dr. Chaturvedi is the past President of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (2010).
Dr. Sobi Pandey
Dr. Sobi Pandey a graduate of Jabalpur Medical College completed her MS ophthalmology from King George Medical University. She was trained in Paediatric Ophthalmology from the University of Iowa and UIC Chicago.
Dr. Pandey won British Council scholarship for training at Moorefield Eye Hospital London.
Dr. Pandey received special training in Nystagmus surgery and was awarded best paper award for young strabismologist by SSI.
She has presented scientific papers and written chapters in books on her speciality. She has large private practice in Kanpur. Her philanthropic works has taken her to Sadguru Chikitsalay Chitrakoot and Sitapur Eye hospital.

Mr. Niten Kumar Agrawal
Niten Agrawal is Commerce and Law graduate from Gorakhpur University. He is also Fellow from Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. Niten is a domicile of Gorakhpur and associated with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants namely M/s Habibullah & Co. for the last 37 years. He has ample experience in the field of audit, accounts, income tax, finance and insurance.
Apart from his profession, he prefers writing poetry and is known for his skill in Drama and related activities. He is socially and literary active through Rotary Club Gorakhpur Midtown, Premchand Sahitya Sansthan, Gorakhpur Film Festival (The Expression), Children of Mother Earth (running APNA GHAR - a home for disputes), Lok Abhiyan (a school for underprivileged children) etc.. As Assistant Governor of Rotary Club, he was very much instrumental in the installation of 5 Channel mHDR Brachytherapy Machine and also a Memography Machine in the Hanuman Prasad Poddar Cancer Hospital and Research Center, Gorakhpur through Global Grant of The Rotary Foundation. Rather this was the occasion where Shailja Didi took initiative to do further for the Children.
Dr. Ulhas Vasave
Dr. Ulhas Jayant Vasave, A medical doctor by profession, completed MBBS (Medical Graduation) from T. N. Medical College, Mumbai (University of Mumbai) and Masters in Public Health from SRM University Chennai. Trained in Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) by CDC-US and NCDC-India and he holds many more additional qualifications related to healthcare and business development.
Dr. Ulhas has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of Clinical Medicine and Public Health. He has rich experience in working with Tertiary Care Hospitals, International Organisations & also with the Public Health Department, Government of Maharashtra State.
He channelizes his energy towards improving healthcare services by using technology and offering quality health services at doorsteps through various Community Based Projects in remote parts of India. He loves to travel, meet people from various ethnicities and develop connections for mutual benefits.
He has travelled to the USA, Russia, Czech Republic, Belarus, Norway, Turkey, South Africa, Kenya, Myanmar, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Indonesia.
He is involved in conceptualizing, planning, designing and implementation of hospitals and community health care projects for various organisations in Russia and India.
